Insight

And then as he sat

With his mouth pressed hard

Into his fist,

His eyes glazed

By the fogs of mystery,

He knew himself suddenly

In a glimpse of something overarching,

As part of an homogenous thing

Throbbing with the essence of what is.

Contiguous with all around him.

Just for a moment.

And his eyes grew moist,

Blurring his physical vision

Even as his insight

Gained clarity

And his heart swelled

And his mind soared.
